Pack up the Choking Hazards

ginnyLaylee:  Isn’t my doll wonderful?

Me:  Yep.

Laylee:  She has a hat AND a purse.  Her purse is so small.  She can only carry really really tiny things like… like choking hazards… and other tiny things.

Oh Ginny, Ginny who is called Beth by small illiterate preschoolers in my household, why you gotta go down like this, homey?

Packin’ your purse with Polly Pocket shoes of death, grapes and marbles?  Girl.  Both your eyes still click open and shut.  Your shoes haven’t even been shoved down the heat vents yet.  There’s so much to live for.

LOL! I don’t think I knew what “choking hazards” were until I was at least six. Where does she come up with this things?

Maybe if you explain to her that her name is Ginny Beth and that Laylee just likes to call her by her middle name all the confusion she feels about “Who am I????” will be resolved and she’ll find some hope in the new year?

She is so precious. She sounds like she is way ahead for such a wee one. My 2 year old daughter told me I needed to be euthanized today. Gotta love our babies!

I haven’t seen any of those dolls on the market that have eyes that open and shut! Accessories that came with “My Little Pony” are no fun either.

“Ginny who is called Beth by small illiterate preschoolers in my household” - CRACKED ME UP.

Best laugh I’ve had all day. Just in under the wire seeing as how it’s 11:59. :-) Thanks for that.

My Mom had a Ginny doll when she was a girl! She just found and bought an old one and I got to see it for the first time. I agree, much better than Barbies.

You know, even if all you wrote about were things Laylee said, you’d still have tons of people coming to read…she is the funniest little girl!

Very bizarre…I’ve missed all these posts b/c your feed wasn’t updating in my Bloglines. I’ll have to go figure out what’s up.

    So glad you’re back.

You know, looking at “Beth,” you’d never know she has suicidal tendencies. She looks remarkably well-adjusted. But then, I’m no doctor. Perhaps Laylee’s love and attention will cure all her ills.

Well considering her lack of usable mouth, I mean what has she to live for? But then again, without a useable mouth to imbibe said choking hazards, perhaps her motivation is not suicidal…but …no I shudder to think about it!

I’d think twice before letting “Ginny” into my home, afterall she’s living there under an assumed name. Who can trust her?

I am literally crying because I laughed so hard. I never before thought that a little kid would even know what choking hazards are!
