I took a photo like this of my cousins at our local zoo. They were 3 and 4 years old at the time and the older one’s arm was draped around the younger one’s shoulders. Now they almost-20 and 21. It’s just bizarre.

You know what’s cool though? They still hang around each other. The feeling in that photo lasted, even though they’ve grown. So that’s something.

And, yeah, I’m crying about it cuz it’s just too darn cute.

Holy cow! The tapirs were AWAKE! I am so in awe of that.

I sigh, but for a different reason. Distance as well as time. But we take what we get, have good memories and cameras, and enjoy things as they unfold! It just keeps getting better-mostly.

Boy do I hear ya…I was just telling my MIL how I didn’t want a clean house anytime soon…that would mean the babies were all grown and gone…
