It’s nice to know that there are other moms who can’t be bothered to make “real” dinner when their husbands aren’t home.

It’s also nice to know that those so-called dinners can sometimes lead to such entertaining conversation. Pigs vs. robots: priceless.

Actually, you can tell Laylee that, to an extent, she’s right about those smart pigs. Horses are dumb enough that they would eat and eat until they killed themselves – but apparently pigs can relegate their own eating habits. That’s smarter than most humans I know. And speaking of pigs, you should visit petfinder.com and read some of the descriptions people have up of their pigs. I stumbled on it while looking for a cat the other day, and just about died of laughter. One person proudly proclaimed that their pig loved to help in the kitchen, whatever that means.

Do you ever wish you had a built-in head camera? I do. Sometimes at conversations like this at the table, I think to myself, “man, I wish I had this all on film.” I would watch them every night when I’m an empty nester and laugh til I cried.
