I’m not sure quite what to make of it. It’s rained so much for so long that it appears to have done something strange to the sky. It’s all discolored and odd-looking with these large patches of a bluish color. They look quite pretty. I’m just wondering what kind of rain falls from a blue sky. Will the rain be blue? It’s unnerving to just sit and wait like this.
We still have power, though not much of the “will” variety. We ate too much pizza last night and I slept in and missed my date at the gym. I hope she still loves me. We’re waiting for the water to go down so we can see if there are still bridges and roads under it and I suddenly have a craving for a manicure and a trip to the mall. No, it’s not prom. I don’t think. I just want to go because I can’t.
Nothing like a blue sky to improve ones attitude! Especially after too much rain.

Yea! You managed to post! We are having weird weather, but not your kind of weird. It was HOT yesterday, poor sweaty babies in their car seats leaving our play date. Barely needed a sweater walking down the street to vote at 7:30pm. Then we woke this morning to rain. Wha? You didn’t send your rain down here to N. California, did you?
Gotta love those pizza hangovers.
Okay, I had no idea any of that was happening, and I just talked to my sister who LIVES there.

I do that all the time, I won’t want to do anything until I can’t and then I want to like there’s no tomorrow! The grass is ALWAYS greener…yadda yadda yadda!
The sky is a neat thing…I love studying the clouds with the kids and figuring out what they are shaped like!
