And now for installment 4 of The Series:

Whoever said faux sheepskin covers were just for your high school hoopty obviously didn’t have a lounger worth modernizing.

“Fleece Recliner Cover dresses up that favorite chair and makes it more comfortable than ever!”

Who needs Orkin when you can simply hang a glowing sensor owl to scare away garden pests? I’m pleased to read that it is approved for indoor use and proven to amuse guests. I’m so sick of coming up with dinner conversation. This could solve at least half of our family’s current problems.

“Sensor owl scares away garden pests! Built-in motion sensor detects movement and emits a loud HOOT. Repels unwanted birds and squirrels while amusing guests. Use indoors or out.”

    Who buys this stuff?

  2. Jeana says:

I don’t know, I don’t think I would show my hooters to dinner guests the first time they came over.

  3. I’d like that shelf for my tv! But that fleece cover doesn’t exactly “dress UP” a chair, in my opinion, lol. Umm, comfortable, sure, but dressed up?? Not so much.

  4. JustRandi says:

I know a few lonely people who could use a Sweet William. Do those come in large?

  5. Liz says:

    my trees ARE lonely

  6. Millie says:

Hey, I might actually get that sheepskin thing. It would hide all of Roz’s marker art.

  7. I actually used one of those VCR shelves – not the most attractive item, but it was better than having the VCR on the floor:)

  8. SURCIE says:

I think they got the copy wrong on the owl. Because, trust me, it’s going to repel guests as well.

  9. Thea says:

LOL at the Gandalf comment. And maybe it refers to the trees as “lonely” only they have their pig faces on. Or maybe they don’t have a nice sump pump cover with woodland friends on it to look at. I know that would make my trees lonely…

  10. Beth says:

Oh man…lonely trees. Is that anything like happy trees??

  11. Shalee says:

But Jeana, you would be amusing them as the advertisement suggests… or just making us jealous. So you’re right. Better just to keep those hooters hidden.

I think I’ll get one of each because you know those advertiser can’t be wrong…

  12. Kimberly says:

So glad to read about that owl…now if one of the neighbours gets one the glowy eyes won’t give me a heart attack!
